Emily is a British Contemporary Artist. Born in Lisbon and raised in Portugal, where she first discovered a love of drawing and painting at a young age. She now lives on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and is inspired by both the natural world and home interiors. Working from her home studio she grows many of the flowers featured in her paintings.

A love of colour, texture and line are apparent in Emily’s work. By focusing on one subject ‘still life’ she can indulge in exploring a lifelong obsession with blue and green. Both of which feature heavily in her choice of colour palette. These pieces convey a sense of pure joy and happiness, celebrating nature through art.
